Weather forecast

The current over the Alps will increasingly veer from west to south-west towards midweek. In doing so, significantly milder air masses will reach us in front of an Atlantic low and further extensions of Atlantic disturbances will approach our area. The snow line will rise significantly above 2500m above sea level until Thursday. A foehny south-westerly wind will provide for occasional gaps in the clouds, at the same time further showers will cross our area. Friday will bring little changes in the weather, however, the air will become colder again. The snow line will sink below 2000m above sea level. The Atlantic low will approach Middle Europe towards the weekend, consequently the current will increasingly veer to the north and late winter-like cold air masses will begin to approach our area. With mostly heavy cloudiness the shower activity will remain high at the weekend. The snow line will settle at 1300m above sea level. The start into the holy week will be late winter-like. Snow will reach near 1000m above sea level.
