As the saying goes: “Once learned, never forgotten.” But it’s not all that easy when it comes to biking – at least, not when it comes to mountain biking. That’s why the bike guides in the Paznaun have supported mountain bike rookies and old hands during tours at the Paznaun for years now. Whether it’s weekly courses, private guides or freeride tours in small groups: with our bike guides, every mountain enthusiast finds something to their taste.
What could be better than to explore the stunning Paznaun on the saddle of a bike? In a group of like-minded bike aficionados? During the daily tours and training courses, small groups of maximum ten people – according to skill level – fine tune their technique way up in the mountains. That’s how you won’t just take lasting memories home with you but also a much better riding technique.
Beginners learn all they need to know during their riding technique training lessons at the training grounds, so they can later on shine in the open terrain. At the training grounds, balance, curve and braking technique are practiced primarily.
Are you looking for an insider tour in the Paznaun? The guides are also happy to help with this. Book a guide for a day – the local cyclists know about the best routes! The day tours will lead you to the most beautiful spots of the Silvretta and the Paznaun. A few single trails are part of the fun, of course.
On perfectly planned tours with the most beautiful views of the Paznaun valley, you’ll get to enjoy some freeriding fun to the fullest. Or the adrenaline kick for that matter – because the trail descents pack quite a punch! That’s why the guided freeride tours are only something for advanced riders.
Of course, real fans don't have to do without their bikes in Paznaun in winter either. The fat bikes are specially made for surfaces such as sand and snow and stand out because of their extra-wide tires. So why not cruise through the countryside during your winter holiday?
The fat bikes can be rented all year round from the Silvretta Bike Academy. In winter there are even guided tours in groups.
