The first steps

Nature sets the rules. And precisely these must be observed when freeriding. Because anyone who wants to be out and about in the open country should be practised and well aware of the possible dangers. Children and teenagers who have mastered skiing or snowboarding on secured ski slopes are taught about freeriding by experienced guides. Then it's off to the first freeride tour in the Silvapark.

First the theory...

The right behaviour and knowledge of the dangers are taught in advance by the ski school instructors. They show how to choose the safest route through the terrain and how to be respectful of wildlife and nature. Especially off-piste, there is a danger of avalanches. The little freeride heroes therefore receive instructions on the correct handling of LVS devices in the Pieps training area.

... then the practice

Siggi's freeride route is designed in such a way that the dangers have been reduced to a minimum. In this way, children can gain their first experience safely and under the supervision of freeride experts. The Silvretta Galtür cable cars lay the foundation for safe off-piste skiing for the new freeride generation. So if you love being close to nature and want to feel the sensation of freedom, come and learn the first steps on Siggi's freeride route!
